What could be more important than understanding what your customers want and keeping them loyal?
The NGF Golfer Survey Program helps facility operators survey golfers at the facility or via the Internet and then view real time reporting of the results. Gaining knowledge of your customer base and detailed information about what they value most allows you to better target your market and increase overall profitability.

An alternative way to track your facility's success.
Most operators/owners track their success by financial measures. Although this may be an effective way to manage expenses and revenues, this alone will not necessarily increase rounds or create new business. By adding the Golfer Survey Program to your strategic objectives you will be able to make operational improvements and track and measure your customers' loyalty.

The program can be launched immediately with no disruption to daily operations! The NGF Research Staff works with you to design a product best suited to your facility's needs. Whether it's standard survey or a highly customized one. Choose either an Internet or printed version of your survey.

  • Customer Loyalty - Identify your best customer
  • Verbatim Responses - the voice of your customer
  • Satisfaction and Importance - Learn why customers play your course and other courses
  • Wallet Share - Determine what percentage of your customers’ rounds are going to the competition
  • Competitive Analysis - Identify your competitors
  • Customer Origin - Learn where your customers are coming from
  • Customer Profiles - Profile your customers and understand their perception of price, value, quality and service of your operation
  • Benchmarking - Point of reference to how you compare to other courses at your same price point

This innovative approach eliminates a vast majority of administration and provides both an automated survey and reporting function. The NGF program can be used by both individual and multiple facility managers, as well as public or private golf clubs. Have unique questions you need answered? We'll create a customized study to fit your facility's specific needs.

Internet Version
The Internet survey option allows you to quickly conduct your study with the use of golfer e-mail addresses or simply by handing out a card directing golfers to the Web site location. This fully automated survey and reporting system will allow you to eliminate a great deal of administration associated with this program. The Internet survey is completely set up by the NGF and will require no development on your part.

Printed Version
The more traditional "paper and pencil" version of this program is for those who wish to conduct the program manually. With this survey method, golfers will complete the paper surveys and turn them back in to the club. At this point, it will be the responsibility of the club to manually enter these surveys into the Internet. The NGF will supply your facility with 500 copies of the survey.

Once the surveys are completed either online by your customers or entered into the computer by your designated staff member, the information is aggregated immediately into several valuable reports.

Through these comprehensive reports, you will gain insight on what your customers are thinking and learn what is most important to them. You will have immediate access to these reports online with the ability to view reports weekly, daily or even hourly.
