Tour Edge was founded in 1986 by former golf pro-David Glod in the suburbs of Chicago Illinois. Glod’s goal was to change the way consumers perceived value and quality by providing a product that is as cutting edge as it was affordable.
Still headquartered in Illinois, Tour Edge has been an American-owned and operated company for more than 35 years.
The company currently manufactures clubs across three distinct product lines: Exotics (Ultra-premium and highly innovative clubs, currently played by over 135 top professionals), Hot Launch (Highest level of game improvement and performance design and a mid-tier price point), and their “Get in the Game” products which feature complete stets for any golfer looking to begin playing golf on a budget.
Today, Glod is considered one of the preeminent master club designers in golf club design. His design expertise has led Tour Edge to be a Top 10 manufacturer in every club category.
Some of the major aspects that have led to Tour Edge’s rise are their unique attributes that set them apart from the other golf manufacturers include: 48-hour nationwide delivery on custom fit orders, having all clubs hand built at the company’s Illinois headquarters, and a lifetime warranty on craftsmanship and quality.
Also helping Tour Edge’s push up the ranks is their tour professional staff and their rise as one of the most played brands on the PGA Tour Champions. Tour Edge’s team of tour staff professionals includes 2021 Charles Schwab Cup winner Bernhard Langer, Scott McCarron, Tim Petrovic, Tom Lehman, and Duffy Waldorf.
