Core Golfers on “The Price of Golf”

Almost two-thirds of Core golfers (8+ rounds annually) indicate that prices within the golf industry – whether it be green fees or a new driver – are more inflated than prices of other things they buy in their everyday life. Equipment prices have risen in recent years, as has the average playing fee at public courses, the latter a perhaps unsurprising trend given surges in demand. But it’s also important to acknowledge that these increases came after average green fees saw little change for almost a decade, failing to even keep pace with inflation.
