Female On-Course Golfer Trend
In 2020 and 2021, the number of female on-course golf participants in the U.S. topped 6 million for the first time since 2007. Since dipping to 5 million in 2012 following the Great Recession, the number of women and girls playing golf on a course has risen 24% over the past decade. The net increase has been upwards of 600,000 over the past two years, with 2/3 of that gain from junior golfers.
