Notable Participation Gains by Segment
2022 marked the fifth straight year of on-course participation gains, climbing to 25.6 million golfers in the U.S. overall. The net gain of 500,000 golfers is significant, matching the biggest rise in the past two decades. There were also notable lifts in several key participation segments, as noted in the accompanying graphic.
