On-Course Golfer Participation Trend

More than half of green-grass golfers in the U.S. play only about a handful of rounds or fewer each year. As the number of on-course golf participants has increased in recent years -- a net gain of more than 1.3 million since prior to the pandemic -- there's been a 13% rise in the number of occasional golfers while the number of golfers who play more than 25 rounds per year has seen a similar decline.
