Tennessee Golf Supply Snapshot
Tennessee was the host state for the first PGA TOUR playoff event in 2022: the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind.
The golf course is one of 275 in the state of Tennessee, ranking it 21st nationally in total supply. For context, that’s twice the number of Walmart stores (the nation’s leading retailer) in the state.
Almost 75% of Tennessee’s courses are public, in line with the national average: 139 daily fee and 63 municipal. There are another 73 courses at private clubs, like TPC Southwind.
