Total Golf Participation

Over the past eight years, golf's overall participant pool in the U.S. has grown by over 7 million. The biggest driver is the proliferation in the number of off-course forms of golf, namely golf entertainment venues and indoor simulators in addition to traditional standalone driving ranges. As a result of the growth in this space, the number of Americans who engage in off-course forms of golf has continued to grow and now almost matches the number of on-course, green grass participants.
