The Greg Norman Company is a global private corporation founded by Hall of Fame golfer Greg Norman. The company, which is separate from his involvement with the LIV Tour, boasts a widely diversified portfolio of companies ranging from golf course design to real estate development, and even cable wakeboarding parks, among others. All brands under the Greg Norman Company umbrella are branded with the trademark great white shark logo that has become synonymous with the golfer turned businessman.

For 30 years, Norman’s company was known as Great White Shark Enterprises, prior to being rebranded as The Greg Norman Company in October 2016.

After winning more than 90 tournaments worldwide – including a pair of British Open titles – and holding the world’s No. 1 ranking for 331 weeks, Norman now oversees more than a dozen companies that bear his name. He’s also designed over 100 golf courses across six continents and won awards for his wine.

Greg Norman is also involved with a number of partnerships with companies such as SiriusXM, Verizon, Club Car, and Cobra Puma Golf. Through Greg Norman Golf Course Design, Norman was named Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador with a focus on creating and promoting sustainable golf course tourism and development practices in-country.

Norman established his course design business in 1987, the same year he suffered one of his competitive heartbreaks at The Masters with a playoff loss to Larry Mize. Despite the on-course misfortune, Norman’s course design firm would ultimately be the foundation for his global corporation and brand. He created the Greg Norman Collection of sportswear and accessories in 1992 and founded The Medalist Village, a niche residential community of $1 million-and-up estates in Hobe Sound, Florida, in 1995. The following year, he launched Greg Norman Estates, a collection of 14 wines from Australia, California, and Argentina.

Greg Norman Developments is an integrated international real estate development firm focused exclusively on bringing the Greg Norman brand to high-end residential and hospitality developments, Norman Design Group creates exclusive interiors and architecture for Greg Norman branded residential communities, and partnered with Verizon and Club Car on the Shark Experience, a platform of connected golf cars that include a high-definition touchscreen display and built-in speakers with Bluetooth connectivity to access music, live sports and other curated content on the course.

Other notable interests include a restaurant (Greg Norman Australian Grille), a golf academy (Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a branded line of premium Wagyu steak and beef products (Greg Norman Australian Prime).


Norman transitioned from an accomplished golf career to becoming one of the most successful athletes-turned-entrepreneurs in the world of professional sports.

Even with his track record of success and independent of his involvement with the LIV Tour, Norman is continually seeking new ways to grow and evolve his brand in order to reach new audiences. The same work ethic and competitive spirit that propelled Norman to the world’s No. 1 rank as a professional golfer have also influenced a successful business career.
