U.S. Golf Supply One-Page Participation Reports Available
Beginners, Juniors, Female, Young Adults, Seniors, and People of Color

As a benefit to members seeking information on a particular subject, NGF has created a collection of concise and comprehensive one-page summary reports that contain detailed information on a variety of U.S. participation-related topics.

These “one-pagers” are complementary to the annual Golf Participation in the U.S. Report.

 

Summary Reports include:

U.S. Golf Participation — This one-page summary of consumer engagement in golf looks at participation figures from 2019 through 2024, including an overview on on- and off-course golfers and on segments such as beginners, women, juniors and People of Color.

Females — an overview of on- and off-course engagement among women and girls. This one-pager features a multi-year participation trend among females, demographic highlights and comparisons to the overall golf population in a concise format.

Juniors — an overview of on- and off-course engagement among players between the ages of 6 and 17. It features a 5-year participation trend among juniors, demographic highlights and comparisons to the overall golf population.

Beginners — an overview of engagement among Americans who played golf on a golf course for the first time in the past survey year. It features a multi-year participation trend among beginners, demographic details, comparisons to the overall golf population, and notable details about the record number of newcomers who took up the game during the pandemic.

People of Color — an overview of on- and off-course engagement among Asian, Black and Hispanic golfers. It features a multi-year participation trend among non-White golfers, demographic highlights and comparisons to the overall golf population.

Young Adults — an overview of engagement among golfers ages 18-34, a group that includes Millennials. It features a multiyear participation trend among young adult golfers, demographic highlights and comparisons to the overall golf population.

Age 65+ — an overview of on- and off-course engagement among this notable age segment, which includes Baby Boomers. It features a multiyear participation trend among 65+ golfers, with demographic highlights and comparisons (age, income, play, etc.) to the overall golf population.
