Golf in the Wild
Golf in the Wild

Golf has never been more visible — or more relevant — in the mainstream. The game today is showing up everywhere: in hit TV shows and blockbuster movies, in fashion and social media, and among a new wave of athletes and celebrities who’ve embraced it as part of their lifestyle.

From Netflix series and viral content to commercials and brand collaborations, golf has become a cultural touchpoint — symbolizing connection, creativity, and balance as much as competition. Professional athletes from other sports, from Steph Curry to Carlos Alcaraz, are helping bridge worlds, while fashion icons and entertainers are reimagining what “golf style” looks like.

This video, shown at NGF’s 2025 Symposium, explores how golf’s modern image continues to evolve and how its growing presence in pop culture reflects the sport’s broader shift toward inclusion, personality, and fun. (To access this password-protected video, click image and enter NGF2025)
