About the Photographer, Mike Klemme

As both an accomplished artist and successful businessman, self-taught photographic artist, Mike Klemme brings a unique skill set and a comprehensive perspective to every project. One of the most widely published photographers in his field, Klemme has contributed thousands of images to sports, travel and inflight magazines around the globe.

On commissions from individual developers and publishers, he has tackled difficult assignments on over 1,800 golf courses in nearly fifty countries around the world for prestigious clients such as Arnold Palmer Design, Tom Watson Design, Nike, Golf Magazine, Hyatt Hotels, Four Seasons Resorts. His photographic talents are showcased in two books for GOLF Magazine and HarryAbrams Publishing, Grand Slam Golf by George Peper and GolfResorts of the World by Brian McCallen. He was also the author and photographer of “A View from the Rough,” a treatise on golf and its partnership with the environment.

Mike was a member of the Golf Magazine panel to select TheTop 100 Golf Courses in the World from 1990 to 2020 and is the co-founder of The Academy of Golf Artists.
