U.S. Rounds Played – YOY Changes

Halfway through 2022, rounds of golf at U.S. courses were down about 6% compared to a year ago, per the June National Rounds Played Report from Golf Datatech, which incorporates facility-level data supplied by NGF. But it's important to note that this decline follows a 14% spike in play in 2020 -- almost entirely driven by second-half surges after courses were allowed to resume operations -- and another 5.5% rise last year.
