Rounds of golf for June — one of the most high-volume months for play — were virtually unchanged from a year ago, as the U.S. market remained slightly behind the record-setting rounds pace of 2024.
On a national level, rounds in June were down 0.6%, well within the typical +/- 3% weather-related variance. Only the Mid Atlantic and South Central regions — home to golf-rich states like New York and Pennsylvania, and Florida and the Carolinas, respectively — were slightly outside that threshold, likely in part due to elevated precipitation levels.
Through the first half of 2025, overall play is less than 1% behind the midyear pace set in 2024, when there were a record number or rounds played at U.S. golf courses.
